It is one of the famous south Indian recipe which is loved by many of the people. Even though many recipe are there but Biryani is most mouth- watering dish in south Indian. It is a main dish of south India.
Let us know how to make Biryani
Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cups of Soaked Basmati Rice,
- 500 grams of boneless Chicken,
- 3 tablespoon of refined oil,
- 4 large Onions which sliced ,
- 2 teaspoons of Ginger and Garlic Paste,
- 3 medium size of Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of Cumin Powder,
- 2 teaspoons of Red Chili Powder,
- 1/2 teaspoons of Turmeric Powder,
- Salt to taste,
- 1/2 lemon ,
- 1 Cup of Yogurt,
- 1 tablespoon of Garam Masala,
- 3 tablespoon of Ghee,
- Some Mint Leaves.

Biryani Spices :
- 2 Pieces of Cinnamon ,
- 4 Cloves ,
- 3 Cardamom,
- Some Star Anise
- 2 Bay leaf
- 2 Pieces of Cinnamon ,
- 4 Cloves ,
- 3 Cardamom,
- Some Star Anise
- 2 Bay leaf
Note: 1 1/2 cup of water for one cup of Rice.
Preparation Time : 40 Minutes
Cooking Time : 50 minutes.
Procedure of making Biryani:
At First , We have to Heat the Biryani Kadai, then pour 3 tablespoon of refined oil and then add all the Biryani Spices which is given above ,add the 4 sliced Onions and 2 teaspoons of Ginger Garlic ,Mint Leaves and saute till light brown.
Add the Chopped Tomatoes and leave for 2 minutes. Then add the 500 grams of Chicken pieces ,1 1/2 tbsp of Cumin powder,2 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder,1/2 tsp of Tumeric Powder,1 Cup of Yogurt,1 tsp of Garam Masala ,then Mix all the Ingredients for 1 minute and leave it for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add 2 1/4 Cup of Water and add Salt to your taste, pour 2 to 3 drops of Lemon juice,add close the Kadai for 5 minutes and then put Rice which is already soaked and close the Kadai for 15-20 Minutes on Medium Heat Flame. Then open the Kadai and pour some Ghee and Stir it.
Now it is Ready To serve
Serve hot with Raita.
